It is important select the right starting hands in which you'll play in limit Texas Holdem.  The more players in a pot, the higher the pot odds become. Players can call before the flop with a hand like QJs or 77 if there is a lot of players in the pot already. If there are few players in a pot, than mediocre hands are not good hands to enter the pot with, because the risk/reward ratio isn't there.

Limit Texas Holdem can be profitable even for less skilled players in the short term. Limit Holdem players commonly have a lack of discipline and not enough aggression. In general, an overall tight and aggressive style of play will be most profitable.
    Play only starting hands at limit games, you should see no more than 25-30% of the flops. Look for loose games where at least 30% see the flop on average.  It would be worth while to wait for a open spot at a looser table, then to sit at a tight table.
    When drawing only call a bet if the pot justifies the call. Keep track of the playing styles of your opponents at your table.
    Bet or raise when justified don't just call and let players catch up with free cards. If you believe you have the best hand you should almost always raise.
    Vary your play: occasionally limp on great hands and raise on some mediocre hands. Do this in order to avoid predictability in your playing style.
    Don't draw when you know you are beat and the pot odds are too small for a call. Avoid over use of the bluff and when bluffing you must be quite certain that the other players have weak hands.
